Sebastien has spent fifteen years in capital markets and systems change. First building the investment products that shape how institutions see the world, then working on the underlying systems and infrastructure that support it.

Having studied banking, finance and the energy sector at Cass Business School, a decade followed in the index product world across Dow Jones, S&P, and IHS Markit. His work covered flagship equity benchmarks and resilience-linked thematic products including water, solar, and nuclear, culminating in leading the Dow Jones Sustainability Index family, the longest-established global sustainability benchmark.

He then spent five years in agritech at Vertical Future, scaling the business from founding team to Series B. He led the design and development of the operating platform behind the company's fully automated seed-to-harvest vertical farms, combining large-scale data and hardware automation to redefine how food and agricultural systems operate, to better serve both people and planet.

Sebastien joined Earth Security as Head of Product in March 2026. Out of the office he is happiest outdoors, skiing, hiking, and spending time with friends and family. He remains convinced that the next chapter of finance has to be about living alongside and harnessing nature rather than imposing on it.
